Art Work

I collage.
I tell stories.
Pieced together about
People
and
their relationship to
Place.
Place matters.

Spring/Summer 2020 found us all forced to remain home. Using only supplies I had on hand I chronicled the emotional upheaval that we were all feeling.

An exhibit of my work at the Cotuit Center for the Arts, Cotuit, MA. May 20 - June 18, 2017. I also was fortunate to curate the open juried exhibit, Home, which ran concurrently with my show.
These new pieces plus a small selection of previous works were exhibited.

Another Layer

Adding fabric, thread, and paint to the mix of elements used in my work I continue to develop my approach to multi-media collage. The layering of various mediums, mixed with pencil, paint, and pastel allows me the opportunity to scratch away at the surface - uncovering more stories.

Past Works

Using my own digital photography, vintage and contemporary maps, glossy magazine paper and other paper elements I explore the human face and figure and examine the relationship between people and their environment. The elements of chance combined with handmade construction are important to my creative approach as I aim to tell the human story.
